Im just getting st...damn, thats one sweet setup!!!! Im just getting started out, I bought an 8" F7 cave astrolla about 10 years ago, and have been enjoying it and learning alot. Last summet I bought a used (but new) meade LX50 10" with superwedge and HD tripod, I immediately upgraded to a LX-200 ACF/GPS mount with autostar II. Its hardcore winter here in Manitoba now, and I am restoring the Cave (mirrors recoated), Astrolla GEM chromed/polished/repainted, drive/clutches refurbished, and Im getting the LX 50 OTA/LX200 base ready for some astrophotography in spring, I monted an ETX90 on it as a guide scope, set up dew control, and am in the process of getting guide camera, and main CCD imaging camera. Im looking forward to setting up a roll off building over a permanent concrete pier next summer.... Im planning ahead as I want to be ready to get a 12 or 14" ASTRO-TECH RC myself! I live in the country and have all the room in the world. I want to have 2 permanent piers side by side, and my cave can roll around wherever we want... I have a gazeebo approx 30 feet behind where the roll off will be, and my PC's will be housed in there, where there is network connectivity, power, and all the other amenities of home....

But i gotta say, your "POD" is kick-ass!!! super sweet! Im Jeleous.. ;-)

hope you have many nights of clear skies!

Ginnz!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11117245562734677140noreply@blogger.com
